KIMONO Parasol | Handcrafted from a Kimono Fabric Bolt (Modern Pattern / Crimson)
↓ Please purchase via WorldShopping
This parasol is made from michiyuki fabric. A michiyuki is an outer coat worn over a kimono when going out, originally made to keep dust off.
The luxurious deep crimson silk shimmers elegantly in the sunlight. Being silk, it is also lighter than it looks and easy to carry.
The handle is made of bamboo, the shaft of wood, and the ribs of stainless steel. Crafted by a maker with nearly 30 years of experience making parasols, it lets you bring the beauty of kimono fabric into your everyday style.
*Although made from fabric intended for a michiyuki rain coat, this is not a rain umbrella. Please avoid getting it wet and use it as a parasol only.
