What Costs Are Charged for International Orders?
At Checkout: Initial Payment
When you place your order, you will pay:
- Product price
- Domestic shipping fee in Japan (if applicable)
- WorldShopping service fee (10% of the total product price*)
*Total Product Price = (Product Price + Domestic Shipping Fee in Japan)
After Inspection: Additional Payment
Once your product arrives at the warehouse and passes inspection, you will receive a payment request for:
- International shipping fee
- Handling fee (if applicable)
- Other fees (if any)
At Delivery: Possible Additional Charges
Depending on your country or region, you may need to pay directly to the carrier or customs:
- Customs duties
- VAT/GST
- Import taxes
These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee.
WorldShopping Service Fee
WorldShopping charges a 10% service fee on the total product price (product price + domestic shipping fee in Japan). This fee covers the purchasing agency service and domestic handling in Japan.
Why Is the International Shipping Fee Not Fixed at Checkout?
International shipping fees cannot be finalized at purchase because they depend on:
- Destination country
- Package size
- Actual weight after inspection
- Selected international shipping carrier
Shipping fees are after the product arrives at the domestic calculated warehouse and passes inspection .
When and How Will I Be Notified of the Shipping Fee?
Once warehouse inspection is completed:
- The international shipping fee is calculated
- You will receive a notification with the confirmed amount
- You will be asked to complete an additional payment
Shipment preparation begins only after this payment is confirmed.
Customs Duties and Import Taxes
Depending on your country or region, customs duties, VAT/GST, and import taxes may be charged upon delivery. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee and must be paid directly to the carrier or local customs authority.
