HiraTen is a Japanese parasol brand dedicated to carrying the beauty of Banshu-ori textiles and the skills of experienced artisans into the future.

The brand began with a simple wish to own a truly special parasol. Unable to find a ready-made design that felt right, founder Eriko Fujii decided to create one herself.

Each parasol is made with Banshu-ori, a traditional textile produced in Hyogo Prefecture. Its yarns are dyed before weaving, creating rich colors, a soft and refined texture, and a distinctive character that can be felt when the parasol is opened.

Skilled artisans carefully consider the thickness, softness and pattern of each fabric before shaping and sewing every parasol by hand.

More than protection from the sun, a HiraTen parasol is designed to make every outing feel more enjoyable and personal. Through each piece, HiraTen shares the pleasure of dressing with confidence while preserving the value of Japanese craftsmanship.
