TAKUMI Collection

The TAKUMI Collection is a collection that brings manufacturing that utilizes the techniques of Kurume-kasuri, a traditional craft of Fukuoka Prefecture, and is close to modern life.

Kurume-kasuri requires about 30 processes. Among them, we have specially created a beautiful floral pattern Kurume-kasuri with Nomura Orimono, a rare weaver that handles all processes from yarn dyeing in-house.

"Amaori" (soft weaving), which adjusts the loom to create a soft finish, results in a fabric that feels as if it contains air in its fibers. We are developing delicate patterns and rounded floral patterns created by careful pattern matching and power looms into items such as scarves.

While valuing the tradition of Kurume-kasuri and the skills of the craftspeople, we are connecting it to forms that are easy to use in everyday life.
