At the heart of the brand are denim kimono, carefully made by denim craftspeople in Fukuyama. From the character of the fabric to washing techniques and distinctive stitching, each piece celebrates the qualities that make denim unique. While preserving the presence and silhouette of traditional kimono, FUKUDENI reimagines it as a style that can be worn and enjoyed with the ease of everyday clothing.
The brand also creates upcycled items using denim as well as kimono and obi fabrics that have reached the end of their original use. Fades, woven patterns and traces of time are treated not as imperfections, but as individual character, giving each material a new life and purpose.
